AUSTIN, Texas – Oct. 2, 2024 – National Veterinary Associates (“NVA”) Group, a leading pet care organization comprised of NVA General Practice, Ethos Veterinary Health, NVA Equine and NVA Pet Resorts, today announced the appointment of Jeff Knudson as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 11, 2024.
In this role, Knudson will have overarching financial responsibility for the company’s financial results, finance and accounting functions, including financial strategy and planning, financial reporting, internal audit, tax and treasury.
Knudson will join the NVA leadership team and report to Larry Allgaier, Chief Executive Officer of NVA Group. Knudson joins NVA from AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMN), where he served as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for leading the company’s finance, internal audit, tax, accounting, risk management, facilities and mergers and acquisitions. Knudson was previously CFO of At Home Group, Inc., bringing to NVA over a decade of CFO experience. He also was a senior financial leader at CVS Health, L Brands and Express Scripts.
Knudson succeeds Luuk Hoogeveen, who successfully supported NVA through a period of significant growth and transformation over the last two years. Hoogeveen came to NVA with a mandate to improve financial performance, help strengthen the finance function and balance sheet, and partner to build strong long-term strategic plans focused on accelerating organic growth.
Going forward, Hoogeveen will serve in an advisory capacity to NVA, working closely with Knudson to ensure a thoughtful and seamless transition.
