I joined NVA because I love pets. As pets have become more a part of our families, our care for them has improved and the quality of veterinary care has improved dramatically. Our Legal team provides counsel and strategic advice that helps our team members positively impact the veterinary and pet care profession, ensure broad access to high-quality care for all pet owners, and lead the advancement of cutting-edge medicine to extend and improve the lives of pets.

Before NVA I was the Chief Legal Officer at Aspen Technology. In this role, I was responsible for setting the strategic vision, priorities, and goals for legal and compliance, aligned with the company’s broader business objectives. Prior to this, I was with Dell Technologies, progressing into multiple global roles and across different business functions for its legal department. I began my legal career handling mergers and acquisitions, securities, venture capital, and corporate matters, providing me with deep insight into board of directors’ support, securities law matters, and other acquisition activities.

My wife and I live in Austin, Texas. I have spent most of my professional career in Austin, but have also lived in London, Singapore and, most recently, Boston. We are excited to be back in Austin where NVA is headquartered.

But my primary job is taking care of our family dog, Luna and sending pictures of Luna to my wife and daughters daily. Luna has her own Instagram account: @luna_living_lab_life if you want to follow her!
